TK ASSIST is a family-led organisation based in Far North Queensland, supporting individuals and families across Cairns, the Tablelands, and nearby rural communities. With 15+ years' combined experience in disability, youth, community and government services, our local team provides genuine help and trusted care, rooted in strong relationships, culture, and community.

About TK Assist
Help with Daily Living
At TK Assist, we support you in your daily living from cleaning and cooking to washing and yard maintenance. Supporting you in all your everyday tasks.
Community Access and Transport
TK Assist supports you with any transport to and from appointments, everyday shopping or visiting friends and family
Personalised Care
We tailor our respite care and accommodation, working closely with your NDIS Support Coordinator, to cater to your individual needs to enhance the quality of life. From trips out to the reef, going out for dinner, watching a live footy game. A nice break from everyday living.
Fishing
TK Assist support participants that enjoy a day out on the boat fishing or just throwing a line on the jetty or their favourite fishing spot.
GYM - KEEPING ACTIVE
For those Participants that enjoy keeping fit, TK ASSIST will support and participate with you or plan sessions around your personal needs.
Group Activities
TK Assist will actively work with you to find out what your interest and goals are from sporting activities, bowling, quiz night or a movie screening. Socialising and keeping you connected to the community
Finding and Keeping a Job
TK Assist Actively support our participants if their goal is to find a job and, once successful, support them in keeping that job. From filling forms and actively liaising with businesses to keep an open line of communication as part of our supports.
Homelessness Support
TK Assist help participants who are homeless to actively work closely with temporary housing hubs with the aim of finding a permanent home. We support Participants in filling out application forms for housing and following through with regular follow ups.
